A practice built around you.
One teacher, one student, and the time to see what’s actually in front of us. Private yoga and traditional Thai bodywork in downtown Norman — led by experienced teachers, unhurried, made for the body you bring.
The fine work happens with you, not around you.
A private class is the oldest way yoga has been taught. Group classes carry an energy of their own, and there’s nothing like them — but the private room is where the fine work happens. The pattern in a shoulder that keeps the breath from settling. The hesitation that lives in one particular posture. A home practice that finally fits a real life rather than an ideal one.
We start with what’s actually happening in your body and your breath, and we build from there.
Four ways to work one‑on‑one.
Private Yoga with Mila
A refined Hatha and Vinyāsa practice built on detailed alignment, bandha, and spinal integration — safe and unrushed. Mila holds space for emotional and psychological wellbeing alongside the physical work, and her sessions are especially supportive for women’s embodied practice. Drawing on Āyurveda, women’s practices, and yoga philosophy; 15+ years teaching.
Yoga & Therapeutic Work with Andrew
The session begins with an unhurried diagnostic conversation — postural assessment, how you breathe, where the practice catches. From there, a practice that’s yours: alignment, therapeutic movement, breathwork, mudrā and prāṇāyāma, with guidance drawn from the classical texts. You leave with a short written home practice. Four decades of practice, 30+ years teaching; Mysore lineage under Śrī B.N.S. Iyengar.
The Private Beginner Intro
No mirror of strangers, no keeping up. A gentle, one-on-one first lesson — the breath, a few foundational postures, and how to make the practice yours. The calmest possible front door, with a teacher who has welcomed beginners for decades.

Thai Massage & Bodywork with Andrew
Traditional Thai Yoga Massage — compressing, stretching, and rocking the body along the sen energy lines to open what’s held and restore ease. You stay clothed on a mat while Andrew works with palms, forearms, elbows, and feet. More than 25 years of study, trained in Chiang Mai. Especially effective for yoga injuries, sports and occupational strain, and chronic low-back pain.
More than a sequence of postures.
A session begins with postural assessment and a clear look at where you’d like the practice to go. From there it holds whatever serves you most — customized āsana, therapeutic movement, breathing and prāṇāyāma, Thai bodywork, mudrā, and meditation, along with practical guidance on diet and daily life. For older students, we work gently, with breath, movement, and hands-on care. You leave every session with a written home practice, so the work continues between us.
- Come as you are. Wear something easy to move in — mats and props are here. For Thai bodywork, you stay fully clothed.
- In the studio or online. Work with us downtown on East Main, or join from wherever you are.
- Bring up to three others, free. A private yoga session can be just you — or you and up to three friends or family, at no extra charge. Same focused attention, shared.
- The first session runs long, by design. It’s largely diagnostic — listening and looking — at the same rate.
Taught by experienced teachers, the real thing.

“The best studio with the most kind, knowledgeable, and experienced teachers I’ve ever had. Andrew and Mila have helped me grow my practice significantly — both physically and mentally — over the years. I’m forever grateful.
