FAQs
Do I need to register before class?
Yes. We are a small studio with limited space, so advance registration is highly recommended to reserve your spot. Some classes may fill up, and we cannot guarantee space for walk-ins.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
No! We have yoga mats available for you to use at the studio at no extra charge. Of course, you are always welcome to bring your own.
Do you provide yoga props?
Yes. We have the props you may need for class, including blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, and other equipment depending on the class.
I’m a beginner. Can I come to class?
Absolutely. Beginners are welcome! If you’re new to yoga, check the class description when booking to find a class that feels right for you. Our teachers can also help you choose.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. You don’t need special yoga clothes. Yoga is typically practiced barefoot.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive about 5 minutes before class. This gives you time to settle in, choose a mat and props, and meet your teacher.
Can I come if I’m running late?
Yes. If you’re running late, you’re still welcome to join the class. Please enter quietly and settle in with minimal disruption. If possible, send us a quick message to let us know you’re on your way 405-874-1308.
Can I eat before yoga?
We recommend avoiding a heavy meal for about 2 hours before class. A light snack beforehand is usually fine if you need one.
What if I have an injury or health condition?
Please let your teacher know before class about any injuries, limitations, pregnancy, or other concerns that may affect your practice. We can suggest modifications when appropriate, but yoga instruction is not a substitute for medical care.
Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?
Not at all! You don’t need to be flexible to start yoga. Flexibility, strength, balance, and body awareness can develop gradually through practice.
What should I bring?
Just bring yourself and, if you’d like, a water bottle. We provide yoga mats and props, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
